1. What we collect

We collect the information you provide directly: your email address (for account creation), CV content (uploaded or pasted text), job descriptions and URLs, application notes, and any other content you enter into the platform.

2. How we use it

Your CV and job descriptions are sent to OpenAI's API to generate tailored CVs, cover letters, match scores, and interview prep content. This processing happens in real-time and is governed by OpenAI's privacy policy. We do not use your data to train AI models. Your data is stored securely in our database and used solely to provide the service.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except where strictly necessary to provide the service (e.g. OpenAI for AI processing, Supabase for database hosting). These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

4. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your settings page, which permanently removes all associated data including applications, CVs, and cover letters.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, use the self-service tools in your account settings or contact us at hello@thejobflow.co.

6. Cookies

We use essential session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
